The 2nd Generation Charger is one of the most beautiful shapes ever created by the Gods, yet somehow mortal man finds a way to ruin even that sort of divinity.  That is the ugliest arrangement on ANY car that I have EVER seen.  I'm thinking American Rice, at its finest.

Nice console though....

I just cannot get used to ANY of the styling !  Just not my taste in autos, especially Chargers !

Baldwinvette77

it would look ok if the hood and cowl were body colour, the fender r/t badges were gone and the door stripes, and why is the tach bolted to the dash and not in the dash like the other custom gauges?  other than that the car is ok, i just dont like the shade of purple

Not really to my liking, but it's his car... and he did what he wanted with his car.    :2thumbs:

I've made a decision based on all of the negative comments so far and will refrain from even going to the site to view the car.

Well I have not got a problem with it......not saying I would do that with mine but just cus it's not too my tastes does not make it bad. Variety is what makes the world go round....different strokes for different folks . What you say Willis?

I like the zip ties holding the plug wires together - especially the long one that anchors them to the radiator hose... ::)

Quite...not my favourite colour but I would drive that with pride. A car is not a bad car just because it's not a nut and bolt rebuild of how it was when it left the factory. In fact some of the most followed builds on this very forum are for highly modified chargers. I will go one step further and say that even a lot of the nut and bolt factory rebuilds on here are not correct imo as they are built and finished to a far HIGHER standard then they ever where when they were new. If you look at old photos of Chargers when they were new hardly any have the eveness of panel gap and smoothness of paint etc that some of you guys achieve so is that a true restoration...I think not! Live and let live.  And while I'm in the mood it makes me laugh everything a Charger is on here with big wheels......inevitably someone will say it's ugly because they should be 14 or 15 inch max....why? Unless you enter yours in concours events big wheels can look great ...with a complementing design to the Charger shape. I'm 50 but some on here seem to have the " you can't beat the old days" attitude of a 90 year old!  If you really don't like them then that's fine but why not have a little respect for the work an owner had put in and remember it's probably his pride and joy......opinion yes....tearing into him..No. Think I might paint mine pink with a checker board hood..lol.....only joking!

When you post pictures of a car on the world wide web, you'll get opinionated replies...positive and negative. That's the way it works. If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen. :Twocents:
