over 50 muscle cars that have sat for around 40 years going bye bye

This is an article about the muscle car farm down the road from me, I can't believe after all of these years its going away. These cars have been sitting in the same spot since the mid to late 70's. Such as dozens of 67-69 Camaros and Corvettes, a 70 Challenger R/T V code four speed dana car, 70 GTO Judge etc. etc. They were never available to purchase so I don't know where they are all going. This property is an icon in our area and surprisingly not on cars in bars, Ryan Brutt would flip if he went there, it would top all of his visits.

Sadly I do not have the finances available to make a run out there.  Also who knows what would happen when I do?  Is anyone there I could talk too?

GOTWING

the owner lives about ten min. away he doesn't want people up there i don't blame him people have stolen cars and parts out of there.he had a 69 Z-28 stolen about ten years ago right out of the weeds.

Ghoste

The article doesn't really discuss their fate though.  Are they being crushed, auctioned, donated to charity, transported to Roswell so aliens can suck them into a wormhole?  Whats the end game there?

GOTWING

The owner knows that they are worth money even though he has let them sit outside for so long, :brickwall: there are some in the buildings also mostly Camaros and corvettes.. I really don't know what's happening to them, word in town is he got 4 million for all of his property and it's a lot not just what you see in the satellite pics. ( farm land ) my concern is the 70 V code Challenger I have been watching that car since the early 80's, :eek2: I'm not a GM guy but that's mostly what's out there SS Chevelles, Camaro convertibles and a few mustangs

TONY

here are a few pics
he has offered some of them for sale, he has given me a list,
only a few mopars,
the funny part is when he shows you the cars he mentions the mileage of a specific car and how the motor was rebuilt, or how it ran.
there is even a corvette stuck in the up position on a single post lift in a garage without a roof

his local nickname is dr death, cause he has killed those cars,
he isn't a bad guy, just a bit delusional about the cars he has there

TONY

TONY

I like whats written on the windshield of the chevelle

Not that I condone stealing someone's property, but by the looks of the remaining cars there, they probably did that Z28 a favor.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

68pplcharger

I would like that 66 Chevelle or the 59 Impala... whats he asking for those?

TONY

here are copies of his list that he gave me, his ph# is on it
his name is Butch.

GOTWING

I noticed the 70 Challenger is not on it, did you buy it?  :D I have noticed over the years talking with Butch he usually wants restored prices for everything. The 70 GTO Judge was last tagged in 1976, I know who the original owner was. There is quite a bit not on the list.

:popcrn:

TONY

no I didn't buy the challenger, I believe its still there

yore correct on his pricing, and his descriptions are laughable if you really know what the cars look like

but who knows, maybe now with the property being sold reality has set in, but probably not

a couple of friends of mine were interested in a few of the Camaros he had for sale, but he wouldn't price them

nice guy, but not easy to do business with

GOTWING

yes for sure, when I was in high school 84-86 that stuff was all there then and way before that. Many of the tags ran out in the late 70's He always welcomed me up there and it was fun to walk around with him and here the stories about each one.  The Corvette was stuck up on that lift then too

68pplcharger

that's a shame those cars will probably get crushed because he is so clueless and greedy...  :brickwall:
