Hello All.  I am new to the Charger Forum and have a question for you Dodge experts out there.  I am building a convertible and need seats that will fold forward.  I saw a Cadillac that had really nice seats in it and the guy insists  they came from either a 2013 Dodge Charger or a Chrysler 300.  They do fold forward but I can't see for the life of me how they could have come out of a 4-door Sedan.  I have included the only picture I can find of the seats and there is a handle.  I know the head-rests were removed as well.  Can anyone help me with what Dodge/Chrysler cars had a larger seat like this that will either fold forward flat or at least to 70 degrees even if it's only the passenger side?  Thanks!

JR

They have to be from a current Challenger if they fold forward. The headrests are removable like the seats in that pic.

The Charger/300/Magnum seats never folded forward like that.

Here's what the Challenger seats look like. Very comfortable, as well.

Also, I checked out the regular cab RAM seats, could also be a possibility.

And while, were at it, here are the seats from a Sebring convertible. They have built in seatbelts.

I can't imagine them being from anything other than one of those.

I can't vouch for newer seats, but 4-door sedan seats in some older cars are the same as 2-door seats - they just don't have the mechanism to unlatch them. My 60 Plymouth has the front seat from a 4 door Fury with a hand-made latch that lets me fold it forward so it acts like a 2-door front seat. I guess the message is, don't give up a 4-door seats until you look at them.
