First Scalia and now this.

A Caravan R/T that runs on flexfuels?  We have become a nation of pansy bed-wetters.

R.I.P. Justice Antonin Scalia.

But...

E85 is great stuff.  Amazing for boosted applications.  It's race gas at the pump.  Not sure why you'd want it in your family truckster, but when that crapbox goes to the junkyard it's just more flexfuel goodies for me to pick.

win/win!

For anyone interested in ethanol fuels from the PoV of a couple (Australian) car guys, this was a fun 25 mins spent:

e-85 is an awesome fuel, capable of running more boost and compression than regular gas. also smells like vodka out the exhaust and not gas

We're burning our corn while we can't find a place to store our oil.

It might be time to take a look at the "Farm Bill".

Maybe e-85 is great for vehicles that are designed to run on it, but where other gas engines are concerned, all I hear are horror stories. Especially in the small engine & farm machine area. I'm very glad that in Utah, we are still easily able to opt for standard fuels.

And, R.I.P. Justice Scalia.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Running E85 in vehicles not designed for it will absolutely lead to bad things.

There are definitely considerations to be aware of for ethanol-based fuels, even in lower concentrations like E10 and E15.  Older fuel lines and gas tanks don't like the alcohol.

It's not a drop-in replacement for 100% gasoline, but it's a great fuel with tons of power potential.

i ran my ford lightning on it, just had to up the mixture about 20% and it was great. i didnt have cats on it so the smell out the exhaust was much more appealing than gasoline. made more power and was able to run more boost. i even tied into the fuel rail and had ran a small mist nozzle above the blower. when i flipped the switch it would drop the blower temp from 200 to 30 degrees in seconds. ide run the charger on it but those e-85 stations are harder to find then gasoline

The obvious is being overlooked here as I do not keep up on most of the new MOPARS. When did they start adding an R/T badge to a f**king mini van???  :o

I was thinking adding E85 in a 6 gallon tank and inject it like methanol would this be a good idea?

running methanol/water injection right now and really cools my blower....

Since they put Hemi, Daytona, Super bee and all kinds of names from the past on almost every Dodge being sold.
