Blue Daytona in Greensboro Maryland Late 70's???

Back in about 1979-80-81 there was a blue Daytona with a white wing that sat in a yard just outside of Greensboro Maryland for awhile. I was young but remember laughing with my grandparents about it because we thought it was so funny looking!! Years later my wife opened up a business in Greensboro and I had her ask about it. One guy remembered seeing it but did not know who had owned it. I just wondered if any of you guys ever heard of the car. I always wondered where it ever ended up and if it even survived.

That might be the police auction car it was on here a while back.A light blue 69 daytona from MD bought at a poice auction.It was on ebay I got pictures saved on it somewhere

I just visited a friend in Greensboro, MD. He's lived there over 50-years. I asked him if he remembered any winged cars in the area. The only one he knew of was orange, and it was sold in recent years. Not being into them, he didn't know if it was a Daytona or Superbird.

Didn't Kevin Mocyk's B7 Daytona SE come from Maryland?

A friend of mine looked at that SE Daytona in Dover when it was located in a trailer park. (This was prior to it going through a couple of other owners, and eventually leaving the Dover area.)

I believe he told me the engine needed repair (possibly blown). And he took pics. I've asked him to look for them, but so far...nothing.
