No, he has a patent on the Chevy hood. ;)

As much as I like the 1968 style side marker design, I wished that the Charger models had them mounted lower like the Belvedere and Satellite models. The cars all look cleaner without markers, 68-70.
Nice look, Lennard. Nice looking lines, nice eggshell sheen.   :2thumbs:
I don't recall what wheel you are going to use. Are you going for a "Blade" type of build?

That's the reason why I deleted the side markers. If they were at bumper height or lower I would have left them. I'm not trying to copy any kind of build, I just like sinister looking vehicles.
These are the wheels for my hooptie.

after hearing the chevy comment a gazillion times from the mopar purest , I tend to have lost my sense of humor.
What brand of matte paint did he use, it laid down very nice.

I'm everything but a Mopar purist. I'm getting sh!t for deleting the antenna and side markers and adding a second gas cap. I don't care... my car, my way.
Paint is SEM HR010 Hotrod black.

Thanks Pat. I can't take credit for it though... Chris did 99% of the work.

Nah,  that guy doesn't look familiar.  :silly:

Better check under your fenders for boogies.  :yesnod:

????
The wheels are cool. A timeless classic design. I almost went with a set of Vectors but since my car is red, I thought it would look too close to a General Lee sort of car.
Now comes the fun part....reassembling a car after paint! All those fresh looking parts going on clean and UNgreasy. I really like working with clean parts.

I love Vectors. I think they are the best looking rims ever made. I also have them on my other car.

thats a funny lookin charger...is that a body kit over a 81 charger?

Lennard

Close,  there's a '80 Vette underneath.  :yesnod:

cbrestorations

how could you park a charger and a 80 corvette next to each other in the same garage... :nana:

Kern Dog

Hey Lennard....Please don't admit that you also have a Mustang!

I don't have a Mustang, but I wouldn't be ashamed to admit it if I had one. I'm not a "Mopar or no car" kinda guy.
If it looks good (i.m.o.) and it has a big engine, I don't care what brand it is.

Nice! Where did you get that hood scoop from? Is it metal or is the whole hood fiberglass? Ive made some recent changes to my 68 that require hood clearance, so Im in the market... :2thumbs:

I bought the hood from a guy in Las Vegas.  He bought a regular fiberglass hood and a fiberglass 6 pack scoop and crafted them together... and then decided not to use it.
