Driveshaft length

Greetings from the UK 

My 1968 Dodge Charger 440 R/T arrived from your Beautiful country minus it's Driveshaft !

What kind of length driveshaft should be fitted , I have a 440/ 727 Torqueflite Auto and 8 3/4 Differential.

If I cant obtain a complete one how long is the Yoke at the Front ?

The drive out of the diff is approx 3" where the U/J fits and the U/J mounts would be around 1 1/16"

Shaft length is 52.07" between u-joint cup centers

Diameter is 3"

U-joint is 7290

Part number is 2852162

Length of yoke is not included in propeller shaft length

I just measured the yoke that is still on the diff and that measures 3.75 " across . Most  of the driveshafts I have seen secondhand have 3" diameter with 3 or 3.5" yokes , am I going to find it hard to find something to fit ? Summit racing
Have a driveshaft p/n M7290U will this fit ?

That driveshaft is perfect for you if you have somebody to shorten the tube to the correct length and weld the yoke.
