The cheaper one is a single layer composite, the more expensive one is laminated layers.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

I always use felpro gaskets nothing like a blown head gasket. About 3 years ago i replaced the motor in my wrangler and the builder use victor gaskets and in a year it was  blown Replaced with felpro and its been great ever since. :2thumbs:

:iagree:  That's basicly it.

The 1105 is the "race" gasket for use with high compression and supercharged builds.  :yesnod:

My preferred gasket is the 8519 which has a .040 compressed thickness for tighter quench and increased compression. These are fine for street/strip builds with 12:1 compression or less  :2thumbs:

yes but I have to get squared the block and mostly sure pistons will leave the deck maybe around .010

so 1039 should be enough for me...

bigger bore will get me lowered the compression rate too ( just by a tad, but better )
