Check out digi-tails. I have them in my 69 Road Runner and in my 70 Charger. They are easy to install and they are controlled by a microprocessor which allows you to choose standard non sequential operation or a fully sequential operation feature with a flip of a switch, conveniently located on every board.

looks to basically the same kit for a bit more money, same specs as the ebay kit

They are totally different. The lights on ebay do not have a feature to switch between standard operation or sequential. They also use a better LED and just better overall technology throughout the board. They come with a lifetime warranty. They are great guys to work with as well. I did a lot of research when I purchased LED lights for my cars and these guy are the best.

RCCDrew

Awesome. These are definitely on my to do list.

Welcome BLOWNHEMI.  First post after nearly 8 years since being registered.  Must be a record.  Can we see the blown Hemi pics?  :popcrn:

Small hijack, now back to LEDs.

How do you like them?

Looks out of place...

LOL!!!............. GENIUS!............... But I do agree. Each to their own though!

Same here. I don't even like when people put the wrong brighter bulbs on the inside positions   I would consider using the retrofit bulbs though. So long as it creates a similar to stock bulb illumination.

myk

For the sake of safety, those tail light bulbs need to be as bright as reasonably possible.

RCCDrew

I agree. Many collector cars get rear ended. I think that new LED lights could be the difference in many situations.

For the sake of safety they should have a 3rd brake light, and illuminated side markers. I wont do that either.

:iagree: If I want a "up to date" safe car with led taillights I'd buy a new Charger.  I like all the old unsophisticated things on a classic car.

I like them and plan on ordering a set for my car.    :Twocents:     :2thumbs:

They would look much better with a sheet of light diffusing paper against the lens so it'd make a solid, glowing outline instead of 100 lit up dots in there. That's on my list of things to try one day.

my list too

especially reverse led bulbs and probably parking lights

WHITE AND RED 69

I've got a similar set but they are not sequential. Install was very simple, plugs right into the existing light bulb sockets and you are good to go. I think the sequential ones have to tap into the wiring? Have been perfect going on 5+ years now.

I have the same set as White & Red 69 has, in fact I think I found out about them in one of his threads. Very happy with them and the install is easy. They are much brighter than stock which is what I was looking for. Unfortunately they did prevent my car from being rear ended (Damn texting kids).
