Not sure how I missed this thread, but I'm diggin' this build! :2thumbs:
I'm looking forward to seeing how Daisy turns out.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Got a little work in on it today, wire wheeled the floor, por15 metal prep sprayed, preasure washed, por15'd the floor and then primer sealed all weld seams. Started welding the floor half in.

Got the drivers rear floor pan in, I'm sealing off all a/c holes on the firewall as im going to run vintage air, fixing some rust issues around the rear glass. I cutout a few rusted areas around the back glass to replace with new metal. I'm gonna let it patina back up and look rusty again, I just didn't want big gapping holes. I tried to make the patch look original

This car is gonna look great. I dig the original yellow paint/black strip scheme

Overheating issues...not with this monster fan from a newer mercedes. Flows some serious air and pulls a lot of amps too lol.it has a built in relay so all you gotta do is run a single relay trigger wire from a coolant temp switch. It only has an 1/8" clearness from the pulley bolts but the fan comes off easy

You got a part number for that Monster? New or used?
1970 Dodge Charger R/T.. Owned since 1981

Setting up the rear brakes now, 2 calipers per wheel. One for rear brakes and the other for the drift handbrake.

There are few problems in life that cannot be solved with C-4.

Oh I'm gonna beat the hell out of this car...lol. It's gonna be caged, at the moment I think I'm just gonna slap in some composite leaf springs with a Panhard bar with adjustable front and rear shocks. Then later on I'll rip it all out to put in one of my other cars and go all out on daisy

cbrestorations

Made the adapter brackets so I can use a reverse mount wildwood pedal assembly. Dual compact master cylinders will be under the dash with small remote reservoirs on firewall where the master used to be. It's adjustable pedal height and i can adjust the front to rear brake bias without leaving the seat with a remote knob that adjusts the pedal leverage. the complete pedal assembly with the masters is about a 1/3 of the weight.

Got most of the suspension designed up and cut out today for daisy, will be a parallel 4 link with a panhard. Everything has a lot of adjustment for different types of racing I wanna do with it. It's bushing mount on the frame sides of the suspension and heim join on the axle side.

That's Awesome!  I do a little steel fab. work so I really look forward to seeing this suspension build!   :yesnod:    :2thumbs:   :coolgleamA:

Got home to find I was all out of welding gas...dang, I was all hyped up to get it on lol. I atlas tacked them to the clamp on axle brackets to mock up. I staggered the trailing arm mounts to more even out the upper and lower arms. I don't like those traingulated uppers as they seem long but if you measure bolt to bolt length wise with the car they are really short while the lowers are almost x3 as long. That changes the pinion and geometry way to fast during suspension travel. With this setup I'll be able to adjust for whatever I Wanna do that weekend lol. It's bushing mounted on the frame side of all the suspension so it will be a good Streeter too

Yeah its still gonna be ratty, I'm gonna point out some of the dents though. I am gonna notch the rocker in front of the rear tire and run side exhaust. Other than that will be ratty
