Dodge DID make a actually 99 Charger so anybody know what happened to it? Also..check out Dodge's Daytona concept version..it looks like a freakin' rice rocket. :rotz:. Oh and also I attached a picture of a guys version of the 99 RT..he put a almost 69 grille in it, tunnelled the side windows and put close to 69 doors on it...it looks cool

Mopar Or No Car!!!!!!!!

Crazy Larry

I saw the 99 concept in person a few years back but I Never did see the daytona drawings - that would have looked pretty cool.

Thanks for the post

Anything would look better than the yellow Daytona cat fish I saw, parked out front of the local dealership the other week.

Troy

They made a concept car - not a production vehicle. It was still making rounds at car shows the last time I saw it.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Wasn't it displayed as late as last summer?

I bet they will end up crushing it.

I would not be suprised if it ends up in the Chrysler Museum.

once again,..  it was the plan prior to the Takeover..

Since they no longer sell any of those types of car it will be crushed or go to the Chrysler Museum. If it goes to the Chrysler Museum it may never be seen again. At last years show I talked for a long time witrh one of the big shots there trying to get him to take me down into the storage levels. But it was a no go. He told me that they have tons of cars in storage that will never go on display

Well that sucks. If they never plan on displaying them, then why hang onto them? The should offer them for sale to folks who would want them. :yesnod:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

plum500

I bet if they put that sucker on Ebay, it would fetch a hell of a lot more than that first '06 that went on there.

They'll mothball several million bucks' worth of concept cars on a regular basis, but the production Mopar you actually buy from them will still have corners cut all over the place so they can save 1/10th of a penny per car.

Ever since Hanz and Franz and the rest of the Hitler youth (otherwise known as Daimler) did there hostile take over they have made Dodge the bastard child of Chrysler.  That Charger will never be seen in production, especially if the revamped 300 C a.k.a. Charger sells.  Thanks my rant is over :icon_smile_big:

Anyone else think that car is incredibly ugly? I saw it years ago and didn't like it then either! The 06 charger is much better looking.
