That '68 looks to be in really nice restorable condition, Charlie!  Very small chance he will find the guy who sold it to them but .......... stranger things have happened.
For anyone looking for a '68 Charger project, this looks to be a great start!

VegasCharger

Holy Crap!!! That's a nice 68 to start up with :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

But the possible deal sounds a bit shady. I mean who's name is it in???

Just my :Twocents:

1000% Correct!

MAN ! I knew it must be too good to be true!  Being as paranoid as I am, I am not easily scammed but, never say never!  Going forward, I would ask for a LOT more evidence.

Well, not sure I would agree with this as I use CAPITAL LETTERS for GOD...  So...

GOD Bless!  :)

That normally sets off my warning bells too because it seems so disingenuous. However, look at the pics:
(1) that garage looks like it is attached to a very nice house.
(2) that garage looks relatively new (and there is not a lot of other things in the garage). Maybe he just moved in?
(3) the small kiddie toys in front of car and pool on top of car probably means he has small children.
(4) the garage and overall car look pretty clean. That seems like a person that is a lot more conscientious than the typical craigslist "Bubba".

That car (ad) is definitely worth further investigation.

On the negative side: his grammar is horrible.

I think he's full of it.  A nice sob story to make us go aww while those in the market scramble to make him an offer before he "finds" the previous owner.  I don't think god bless is indicative of a scam.  I've dealt with several honest people that praise god all day long.  It doesn't mean anything.

Why the terrible grammar though?  It's like he went out of his way to mess this up.  Although we do have some members here who can't spell to save their lives.  I still do't understand how they figure out how to put pants on every morning.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

When God bless you or God bless comes up anywhere around money, I run like hell.
I have found that more times than not it is some kind of "pre-absolution". Everything after it has nothing to do with God. :Twocents:

A friend of mine outside of Macon, GA says that he sent an email last night asking for fender tag information.
