What is wrong with my big brake conversion???

I had taken a break from my 70 Charger RT project for awhile and recently began on it again.
I have installed the 11 3/4 Cordoba rotors and caliper,A-body spindles and now I am having trouble
with the hose routing.
My calipers are rear mounted, bleeder at the top but my brake hoses are hitting the lower control
arm when the wheels are turned.
I am thinking a different brake hose would solve the problem?  ???
A friend gave me used hose to try and he said it should work. Here are some pics!   :rotz:
I suck at the internet and dont know how to resize a pic....just a warning  :icon_smile_big:

i already know about the missing tie rod boot also......

Here is a pic of the hose a friend said to use....it looks like the bottom
banjo puts the hose at a 90 degree turn so it should work ??????

I do notice that the top part of the hose there is a small tab on the brake line fitting that
needs to be removed to sit flush in the bracket,.. you can barely see it in the pic.

But there has got to be a better hose that I shouldnt have to modify???

I  looks to me you need a 90 degree banjo at the caliper end, you also  need the proper  bolt/ fitting also to mount a banjo end to the caliper.
nothing to do with brake hoses but,    i can not see the upper ball joint cotter pin in that picture.  i think there is a better one from a j or m body , i can not remember to be exact. also i remember reading somewere that hose routing has been a  problem with that type of caliper  (brake hose to the bottom)  ,you could  get some custom steel braided hoses made up with the ends of your choice .-

Those calipers are problematic as far as clearance and hose routing, according to the Mopar Action article everyone goes by to do this swap. I used 1973 Challenger calipers (like the two pictured on the left below) and they work fine. The one marked with the arrow and "X" (as in "don't use") are the ones you have.

But will the type of hose my friend gave me solve the problem? It sounds like it will.
I will go to the parts store and see if they can match some like the one in the pic.
