Anyways, I was looking at allpar.com and on their site it says that in Vanishing Point when the Challenger hit the bulldozers..it wasnt a Challenger but a Camaro stand-in or more of a smash-in..lol. Also, they wrecked a 68 Charger RT in the movie too. Did anybody notice the Challenger that blew up was a 67 or 68 Camaro? Look at the pic that I found!!!!!!!!!!

It was a 1967 Camaro and was towed by the 383 auto car that was used as a camera car for a lot of the driving scenes. There were 4 440 4 speed Challengers and one 383 auto car. The 383 auto was used as a camera car. And the guys on the set all said the 383 was almost as strong as the 440s.
The put 1/4 of cable from the read of the 383 Challenger , between the blades of the bulldozers and attached it to the Camaro. The Chalenger pulled the Camaro into the dozers.

You can also tell it wasn't one of the Dodge-loaned Challengers 'cause the hood that blows up into the air during the explosion doesn't have the R/T air-inlets on it - it's just a plain ol' Camaro hood flipping toward the camera.

Well, I didnt know that they used a Camaro because when I last watched it, it was over 5 years ago when I was 8. I moved to a small town so I cant seem to find the movie here. :'(
