Anyone know where to get a hood latch spring?

I was cleaning up my hood safety latch and found the return spring broke.  I got it off but can't find a replacement.  Anyone have and idea?

Looks kinda like the seat hinge lever spring. I think there is a topic from Bull where he made his own.

Thinking outside the box a little bit....but a spring from a small spring clamp from a hardware store might work
