SOLD for $54,000
The reserve was lifted when bidding stalled at $49.5k (pre auction estimates were $60k to $80k)

nice looking car though.

As much as I like black 1970 Charger R/T's, after looking at the engine bay of this car I'd say 54K was a fair price for it.

Yep, my neighbor who's down at the auction this weekend stated that there were more dealers there snapping up the cars than normal.  I expect this car to be posted on the many auction sites soon too.

I think $54k is generous for that car . Look at the eng compartment , looks orig , not restored , so we can probably bet the front suspension needs detailing as well . It is just a 70 R/T that had a new paint job and new interior . NTM , I have personally been to a Mecum , you are not seeing this car in person , so you don't know the quality of the body/paint job . I would say 80 % of the cars that look awesome on TV , aren't in person . That's why you see what you think are " good " deals cross the block .
