here is a link to an upcoming Mecum auction. Educate me on 69 Charger 500 SE's. 1 of 13 known to exist?
Did not know about these cars, and this may be someone's car from this Forum, but what differed them from other 500's with the SE option?

The key word is "known"......... I'm sure Danny has a bit more on the subject since he's been collecting data and stat's on C500's since he was in diapers...

Don't think there was any rhyme or reason when they had a C500 which was an SE too, just a function of the car that was "transformed"........  This is to the best of my knowledge.

they got the Charger 500 production total wrong at 392 what makes you think the 500 SE number is any more accurate?

Yeap, a 3-speed wiper wasn't part of the A47 SE package......... 2-speed standard......

The only thing I see different from my car is the wood grain bezel in the interior and the chrome Magnum wheels, which I am pretty sure was not a factory option.

The other not-so-obvious part of the SE package is the leather insert seats....... The color of the leather is the same as the skirt vinyl, so if you're not looking for it, one would miss it........ Also, pedal dress kit and A01 light group ( which included the hood-mounted turn indicator lights ).

I am pretty sure my car has leather seats in it. I thought all the 500's had them. I had a 69 SE Charger, 383 4speed car about a year ago, I sold with leather seats, and I am pretty sure it was the same material in my 500.
I need to go home now and check... nope, just vinyl seats on my car

If there's an A47 option code on your data tag, then the seats are appropriate to the car, if not... Well, someone put them in there probably sometime in the life of the car........

Is that a 1968 Front Charger emblem in the grill?  Looks kinda large to me.

Beautiful car tho.  Wish they posted the fender tag.

69_500

Looks like the same one that ran through an auction here in Indy about 4-5 years ago.

I would have to do some digging to see how many SE 500's I have info on. I know I have only seen 5'SE cars that also have A/C.
