Did all 70 Charger R/t s have wheel opening moldings?
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Does E stand for extra cost?
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Apparently the answer is no , they were extra cost , where as all 68 and 69 Chargers had them . IMO , it needs them ,  it doesn't look right without them , looks like something is missing .
Then you have the 69 Roadrunner that never had them , and looks funny when someone does put them on !!!!

And the last time I tried to use repos , 2009 , they sucked , didn't fit for s#%t !!!!! Found originals and cleaned/polished them up . Maybe now the repos are better ?

in '70 it's NOT on a Charger's fender tag - M26 would be on the window sticker and/or b'cast sheet of a R/T so equipped
