I know  you guys are going to angry I don't have pictures, but after bad parking and tramping around in my dress shoes in a muddy towing yard, I didn't think about it.

On my lunch yesterday, I went and viewed some cars up for auction in a Towing co yard in Renton, WA. This auction was poorly advertised only in a local newspaper in notices and on the towing co's website, but had to go three layers in to get the car list.

Normally I wouldn't be interested in this kind of auction, but they listed several 60s-70s cars including a 69 Charger. The VIN said it was a 383-4 car.

The towing co had been called to take away several cars from a storage unit that the owner had fallen behind on the rent. BAD MISTAKE in this case!

there were probably 7-9 cars. Some were basically turn key restored #2-3 cars. Other needed more work but were not rusty buckets.

There were 3 Pontiac Grand Prixs, one had tri-power 66-68 years (all restored) 1 convertible
one 65 GTO rough but restorable
73 Camaro Z28 #3-4 condition no engine but otherwise complete

3 Mopars
70 plum crazy Dodge Cornet Superbee convertible #2+ condition-was not for sale at the auction but was outside with the rest of the cars-big bucks!!

70 Dodge coronet red convertible 318 column auto-#2 condition-This went for less than $10K

69 Charger - Tan on black. Recent/decent paint job, missing all external trim and Windshield trim.(may have been in the trunk) decent Magnum15"  500s and wide BFGs all around; Pistol grip 4-speed, dirty/moldy but complete interior; Had what looked like a 440 motor home engine in it. Missing all wiring harnesses and belts/hoses under the hood but mostly complete other than that.

There were a lot of people looking at the Charger. The Towing person told me it went for more than $10K; that's all they would say.
