Hey guys, have you ever heard the phrase that says, "US made cars dont get old, they just move to Mexico" ?, I found this 68 Charger on line for sale in Coahuila, across from Texas, for $3800 dollars.

It looks straight.

TJBowen.

Interesting dash. Is that the very rare special order combination 68 black pebble grain with 69 wood grain? Car looks excellent but I also would worry about the title. Might want to bring it across the border in Johnny Cash fashion-one piece at a time.

how far into Mexico is it  ,make sure you take  some  friends when you go to look at it  :scratchchin:

He was saying that the black one was just over the border near Texas, or is that Tejas....?

I'm just waiting to see how this one turns out.  Whether it is legit or .....

I could not swear its not hot, ita reasonable to think it may be, still I am no where near Coahuila, I am in TJ, across from San Diego, CA.

Yes, that is the one I saw there, and the post must be in pesos $60,000 at the exhange rate of 16x1 since its the currency down there.

The Mercado Libre posting says $60,000.00 U.S. currency!  Gotta believe this is  the real posting.   $3800.00 is laughable!

Touche, I just read that, so far for hot car theories.

Rule of thumb with Chargers:  If it's too cheap on the add, 99% chance of phishy business.  In Canada we get the "It's in a storage container in Yukon", and the "Payment will be accepted through E-bay's secure transactions"   :pity:

Things I see wrong:
69 Stripe
Wood grain dash parts, with black cluster
Vinyl trim, with no top

This car reminds me an awful lot of another we've seen here recently  :scratchchin:
