I don't know all the ins and outs and goods and bads of the bill (there always seems to be something wrong with them) but the "Fixing America's Surface Transportation Act" has at least one feature that could be pretty cool:

H.R. 22 "allows small automakers to construct up to 325 such replica cars a year, subject to federal regulatory oversight. Replica cars resemble production vehicles manufactured at least 25 years ago, which would include first generation classic Mustangs, even the majority of the Fox Mustang era for that matter. The U.S. currently has just one system for regulating automobiles, which was established in the 1960s and designed for companies that mass-produce millions of vehicles. The law recognizes the unique challenges faced by companies that produce a small number of custom cars."

Now, if we could make some sense out of the clusterfuck that is the titling & VINs, between different states with different habits, including varying difficulties for getting custom vehicles street legalized . . .

And IMO they should just drop all emission requirements for everything after 25 years.

So far the MO has been that these types of cars, like the Dynacorn bodied cars, has been that they are considered new cars with new style VINs. But who knows what the state to state issues might be.

Not sure I would what a turnkey new "old" car but I sure wish that AMD would offer a 68-69 Charger body like the way Dynacorn sells bodies.

I sure hope that before they come to that point,  they have their shit straight with the separate parts they are making and selling right now. A lot of parts have been on back order for ages because of retooling problems.

probably half the reason they dont make a full body shell because they cant make it fit together due to the bad panel fitment :smash:  :smash: :buff:  :hack: :smash:
