Thanks guys. Spent the evening at a four hour Haz mat recertification class. Who hoo!
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Sadly, he only got to enjoy the car for a couple of months before he passed away from brain cancer.  We were happy that we got to fill a dying man's request.  Not often that one has the opportunity to do that.   While he was still alive, his son drove him to a cruise-in and a show over there.  I believe that the Daytona took 2nd place in its class.  About a month after his death his family held a memorial celebration & cruise where they invited all his friends to drive their old cars along with the family.  I think that his sons are going to take very good care of the car.  One of them drag races an old sixties Mopar over there in England, and they inherited their father's repair and restoration shop.

Another belated Happy Birthday to you and it is heart-wrenching to hear about the brain cancer situation.  At least, as you said, he got to enjoy the car for a little while!
