So it looks like Mopar Collectors Guide has taken on a new course and they will no longer run print ads in their magazine.  They will have them online and I'm sure it will help their profitability but I liked the ads.  I know a lot maybe don't but I was one of the few that enjoyed reading through them.
Times change though and maybe its time to let my subscription to that one drop.  I can find most of what I want to know online anyway so if the magazines are pushing me there too, then I might as well.

but seriously I've always went through all the advertisements after reading the mag( insert mopar mag name here   ;) )  ,  taking them is like removing the what's new section

The ads have been useless for 25 years. If it was advertised there, I couldn't afford it.

Not the glossy vendor advertisements, the little classified ads from individuals.  I imagine they will go the path of  MM and get more vendor ads now to cover costs.

I would hate to see car mags go extinct.  IMO they are still an extremely useful source of tech and a way to soak up the hobby in general.

Net forums are great for finding very specific bits of info, and to see crazy things being tried.  But it's much harder to find ongoing thorough buildups being covered by writers will well-rounded & balanced backgrounds.
