I agree, it is all personal taste but I couldn't stand the colour, too

Pretty near the same color as an old Army Jeep.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

I'm not sure if they were marketed toward Servicemen, but as a former one myself, I wanted nothing to do with Green when I got out. I think it's more likely the color fads of the era.  Lots of Avocados, Golds, Browns, Greens and Oranges in furniture and fashion during that time. Many ugly car colors.

You people are mad; that's a beautiful car.  Besides, it's a 1 of 36 survivor; doesn't that automatically make it a  great car?

Aero426

Nothing wrong with that color at all.

Stevie would agree with you.

moparchris

Nothing wrong with that color as long as you also like the color of a used baby diaper :eek2:

HPP

Nahh, that color isn't as bad as the Avocado Gold of 1974. It was like the Y9 gold only with more green in it.

I didn't say it was good, just that there are worse ones out there.  Kinda of like saying vomit isn't as unattractive as diarrhea.

I don't mind the color either.
In my opinion, there are worse colors out there
