I got a Florida plate yesterday from Nathan (Lord Worlock) and it's a real unique one I've never seen before. Always enjoy the one-off stuff. Thanks a lot, Nathan! :2thumbs:

Do you want pairs or will singles work?

North Dakota is in the process of switching all the plates in the state from metal to plastic.  The new plastic ones are hideous.

I can send some ND metal if you still need 'em.

ralley72

Do you still need Oklahoma? I have one, not in great shape.

Yes, please. Singles is all I need (just one plate will be used in my display) but if you want to dump a pair I'll take both. :2thumbs: I'll PM my address.

Yes and no. I actually have a Peoria Indian Oklahoma plate but it's not in great shape. I'm holding out for a nice Peoria plate (because I am a Peoria Indian) but I live in Oregon so my chances of finding a nice one are slim. If I don't I'll get a more generic Oklahoma Indian plate in good shape someday.

Got my mits on three more today from a local craigslist ad, plus a Crater Lake plate because it has more personality than the other Oregon plates.

Thanks, I will email him and ask. I did email restoreatag.com to ask about restoring my Peoria Oklahoma plate and they told me $275-$325. Not sure I want to spend that much without trying to find another one in decent condition but so far I'm not having much luck.

I had a guy restore my original creams Charger plate for $40....I can try and dig up his info if ya want

Sure, if it's not too much hassle. I believe the high price is because these modern plates are more of a challenge to restore than our non-reflective two-tone plates of old. Everything now is so graphics heavy compared to how it once was.

Well, this guy definitely has no interest in restoring my Peoria plate, "As stated all over the website, I'm only doing California black base and Georgia plates," he said. His reply did not acknowledge my request to purchase a good Peoria plate should he locate one.

Well, here's his website...He sure raised his prices since I had him do mine years ago....not sure if he's willing to tackle the high graphics plates or not....all you can do is ask him and then decide from there

Doesn't sound like he does them. " I do accept most state or country, metal embossed plate from1903-1975."

Check this out. This license plate looks like it was painted kind of sloppily by hand so I figured someone tried to restore it. I looked online to see how they were originally and I found several that look exactly the same. Weird. I guess it's original.

Lord Warlock

Glad you like your plate, the state has about 50 different designs, the default is one with two oranges on it, the save the panther was a specialty plate the wife picked out (I use the same design on my vanity tag).

Think I have one other regular plate from florida if someone needs one.   Had two but I had to use one with the charger when I registered it for the road again, other one is about 7 years old so think its safe to dispose of.

I sure do. :2thumbs: Would you like my address?

FYI to anyone who cares, the cheapest way to send plates is with a 12" square piece of cardboard. Plates are 6"x12" so you simply lay the plate down, fold the cardboard over, tape up the three open edges and send it first class for $3-$4. I just sent two in one package to a high school friend in Arkansas that way and it cost something like $3.41.

baullz

Yes sir go ahead and PM me your address and I will try to get one sent out to you tomorrow!

dads_69

Bull, you have any Alaska plates yet? If not pm me I have one I could send you.

OK Bull and 383wing, I just got back from 30 days working out of town and had promised you each a KY plate. The problem-I only have 1-from 2015-does either of you want to wait-I can get another pretty soon I think because it is just 5 miles away

Let me know
