EE1 with white interior?  I wouldn't drive that car, I'd make love to it.

Is 1968 EE-1 actually the same shade as 1969 B7? I am painting my car 69 B7 and it doesn't look as dark as the colors above.  :shruggy:  The pic below is a shot of my trunk area...

NO, none of the 1968 blues "C", "D", "E", "Q", or  "U"  ("C" & "D" were c-body ONLY) have the same paint formula as 1969's "EB3", "EB5", "EB7", "EB9" ("EB9" was c-body ONLY)

Was B9 available on a Charger?

Thank you, I must have read some of the posts incorrectly as I thought it was implied that they were one and the same.   Wish I researched that color a bit more as I really like the look of EE1  :scratchchin:

Redmist thanks for the wallpaper! Here's a pic. of my interior. It has a black console because the original was missing. Also the seats are from a friends '68. I have the seats that are original to the car which they came with headrests. As for the carpet is that the correct shade of blue that would go with that interior? I believe that's the med. blue carpet. He installed it before I bought the car.

As far as I know his car is a low mileage original & I think he is original owner so must be :shruggy: LEON.

fc7_plumcrazy

AFAIK B9 was a c-body only colour.
If it is really painted B9 the fender tag should show "99" as a special paint as the colour was NOT regulary available on a Charger in 69.

I'd have to look at the fender tag but have not seen him or the car in many years. LEON.

here's a '69 B9 "midnight blue metallic" Imperial for reference - on a Polara/Monaco it would simply go by "dark blue metallic"

The Imperial looks fantastic.
The V1B blue v-roof is an Imperial only top.
Great !

My Dad had a dark blue metalic 68 charger with white interior 383 4 spd back in 1973/74 and that was my favorite Mopar that he ever had. 383 4spds are more rare than 68 Hemi $spds in 68 and with that color of interior and exterior color there cold not have been many made. I will post the pic I have of the car when I get it from my parents house.
