Flying through Chicago-Midway and on to Buffalo with the family. Then pick up a rental and drive down into north central Pennsylvania (i.e., "the middle of nowhere") to do a little hunting/fishing and visiting. You never know what you'll see poking around the little hamlets and villages back there. Most everything left outside has long since rusted away to nothing (Pennsylvania loves salt!) or, had been beaten to death by all the bad roads and potholes. But...lots of car folks back there with interesting things tucked away waiting for another Summer to happen. It's like going back in time there. The exact same music is playing on the radio now as when I left there over 30-years ago and very little has changed in my absence. Everybody just got a little older.  My 40th high school reunion is this July.  Debating on whether or not to drag the old car along when I go?

I hope you enjoy yourself. I went back to my hometown in Minnesota a few years back, everything has changed. it was sad for me to see that, but that's the way it goes. sounds like you can go back home again.  bt

Yeah, every time I go home, it's less and less like I remember. Once my folks are gone, I'll probably never go back. Although, taking my Green Charger I had in High School back for a HS reunion does sound fun. You may want to consider doing that, I'm sure it will make it memorable for all involved.
