What is up with the area over here? looks like a backyard repair or something  :shruggy:

crj1968

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing; a lot of that metal-work looks really half-assed.

skip68

I have a feeling that the guy that owns it was trying to build something out of it and gave up.     :Twocents:
I guess you could build your own custom car out of it.    :shruggy:

Homerr

Who is going to Lambo suspension their Charger?!

6spd68

Based on the dash picture, I'd say it was in a fire.
Every great legend has it's humble beginning.
Project 668:
1968 Dodge Charger (318 Car)
Projected Driveline:
383 with mild stroke
Carb intake w/Holley 750 VS

6-Speed Dodge Viper Transmission

Fully rebuilt Dana-60 w/Motive gears. 3.55 Posi, Yukon axles.

Finished in triple black.

The toasted Lambo belongs to an Italian car friend in Orlando.    It came to him several years ago exactly as you see it.    Being in the warehouse business, he had the space and it was a good deal.  He was able to tell his friends that he owned a Lamborghini.   At the moment,  he needs to rent the unit where the Lambo has been sitting and it needed to go.

Apparently that's the quality of hand built Italian supercars. Had a Ferrarri  in a shop sometime ago, 10 12 years ago. And my bodyman friend made it a point to show me the quality of manufacturing in that car. I actually was shocked, the inner drivers door frame was so ruffly welded together, looked as if a fifth grade student was assigned the job, they did not even dress the welds. Just thinking ,it may not be as bad now, maybe they replaced Dominic and Angelo with a new robot welder.
