What kind of paint do you recommend for the engine bay?

Hello!! I am going to rebuild my 440 and need advice to paint the engine bay...The car will be painted gloss black. What kind of black do you recommend me for the engine bay? Gloss, satin? Do I need a special paint for the heat that will produce the engine?

OE is same as body color.  But I assume you are not going TX9 specifically, so I would stick with black but not gloss unless it is a trailer queen show car only.

Use the exact same paint as you do on the body.  The heat is not an issue.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
