How did u deal with the rear brake line driver side?

c00nhunterjoe

I have not minitubed mine, but when i redid my brake lines, i eliminated the z bend and routed along the inside of the rail.

On a side note, what made you choose to minitub? You can fit a 29.5x12 under the stock hole.

What are your goals with the car? Cruiser, dragster, autocross?

Tired of fish tailing with regular driving want more traction.

Ok I did more pre evaluate now it seems exhaust is in the way how did u manage that?

What tires are currently on your car? If you are having problems with traction on tires that will fit under stock wheel tubs, you have 1 of 2 problems. Over 600 hp or the wrong tires.

I will have to roll under the car. Its 60 here today so might pull it out for a ride. I have 3 inch exhaust through tailpipes and no problems with clearance.

When I mini-tubbed a 1969 Charger I simply hand bent a brake line down the inside of the frame rail and anchored it to the floor using small wrap around clamps

If you are moving the springs, then pictures of mine wont help. I will snap a shot under the rear of the '63 max wedge since it is tubbed.
Fwiw, your tires are 3" wider then alot of guys i know that are hanging the wheels on launch with under 600 horse. Just food for thought before you spend alot of money to try and stick a wider tire under it. Suspension is more important then tire width.

ok you got me I just want a fatter tire back there, lmao..... :icon_smile_big:

you minitub without moving in the leaf springs?

The rear tires are 335 but there's room for a 355,  if they only made a 355 for 17 inch rim ;-)
Thank you!
