Plz help 73 charger defrost

OK.  I pulled the windshield, and ripped out entire dash to troubleshoot malfunction of defrost.  Radical I know.

Minimal rust around window.  No problem.

Lots of leaves in heater box. 

Heater box damaged.  I suspect a passenger's knees are responsible, although no indication of a major collision.

Here is where I need help.

The large flapper which directs air between front vents and defrost has nothing attached, although there are two vaccum lines hanging which imply that there should be a dapshot, not a cable.

Who knows, do you have a picture, and do you have the missing parts?

This might help, these are pics of a A/C heater box in plain view still attached to the car. This is from a 1973 B Body Plymouth Satellite. I'm not too tech savvy on these units but maybe another member might weigh in.
