I just today watched the Drive Angry movie and it was alot better than I expected!! Lots of car action and Hott Amber Heard and violence and boobs!!! What else could a guy ask for in a movie?! For some reason I was told the movie was awful and it wasn't worth watching, I picked it up in the 5 dollar bin at wal-mart a few weeks back and it was crappy outside today so I threw it into the dvd player and it was a fun movie to watch!!!! Awesome movie!!!

Watching that Rivi get thrashed made want to cry. Let's not even mention the 69's fate.
Imagination was given to man to compensate him for what he is not;  a sense of humor to console him for what he is.      Francis Bacon

WANT TO BUY:
Looking for a CD by  'The Sub-Mersians'  entitled "Raw Love Songs From My Garage To Your Bedroom"

Also, any of the various surf-revival compilation albums this band has contributed to.
Thank you,    Kenny

I'm not even a buick fan but that one was cool looking for sure!!! The 69 had more screen time than any other car in the movie which it should have since it's a charger!!!

I'm not a Buick fan either. I sure do love those early Rivis, though. Especially the '65s.

Well, they were right, it IS a horrible movie and I don't care how hot she is.  :icon_smile_big:

I couldn't even finish it.  It's a Nicolas Cage movie and that kinda goes hand in hand with total crap these days.

I'm glad you enjoyed it.   :2thumbs:

I think that chick from DA is into other chicks (only).   :'(

Nic Cage's career crap-fest started because he got in deep with the IRS and needed a ton of money fast.

Kern Dog

Someone brought Amber back to our side. I can't recall who that was.

It was forum member 1974dodgecharger and his really big rims...

the charger was Semi-Satin Dark Navy Blue. also, not satin black like death-proof, although that's where they came from

an excerpt from an article about the cars from the writers and directors:

The cars you use in this movie are absolutely beautiful machines, and I don't know how into cars you guys are, but did you ever feel a twinge of guilt about destroying them like you did?

Patrick Lussier: Never, never felt any guilt.

Todd Farmer: I didn't feel guilt, but when we were told that there's a limited number of Chargers left because of what Dukes of Hazzard did...

Patrick Lussier: Yeah, Dukes of Hazzard destroyed some of the Chargers. We never destroyed the Chargers. The Chargers went through a lot, but it was cosmetic. The Chevelle, on the other hand...one Chevelle is pristine, one Chevelle is uhh, not in good shape. The one we probably felt the most guilt about was the Riviera. The '64 Riviera is a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful car.

Yes the riviera was cool but it doesn't have the same attitude as the charger!!! And yes it had no vent window's which was cool looking and maybe they done it to change the look of the car a lil bit or just to remove them for the driving camera shot's. The movie just had an old school feel to me that I like in car movies kinda like death proof and highwaymen.

When looking for a "star car" the director loved the look of the Charger except he didn't want to "copy the dukes of hazzard". So they decided to just change the look of the car slightly. They made it flat black and took out the vent windows.

its popcorn movie when will people understand this?  Does every movie have to complex to understand like Inception?  ::)

Sit back, relax, eat your popcorn, and just watch the visuals...... :2thumbs:

Kern Dog

Inception was the kind of movie that really required the viewer to think. Once you got distracted, you got lost in it all quick!

Ghoste

I think Amber goes both ways but no matter, she won't be darkening my door anytime... ever.  That said, Amber and a Charger are enough to make me ignore Cage and watch the film.

They painted it satin dark navy blue. You can kinda tell in the pics above.
