Can't an AMD rebody cure all which is wrong with the car?  :popcrn:

No aftermarket front fenders?  That would take a lot of work to make drivable again.

WOW that price.

You dont need to kow a Charger inside out to know that that one need a full "restoration" and more. It needs to be straightened before new panels can be put on an then all the body work done again....

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

Seems like an extra zero was added to the price.  There are good parts on the car but fixing it would, like a lot of restorations, cost more than the car would be worth when complete especially with the hit on the left rear quarter.  The frame, floor and trunk would seem to be in pretty bad shape along with almost every body panel.  For $38K they are selling not much more than an expensive VIN, an interior, maybe a powertrain and some glass.

They are either delusional or greedy?
Sad thing is, there just might be some fat wallet assclown that sees this and HAS to own it. Years back when the Northern Oil Fields were really happening, rig workers were swimming in money. Guys that fall into big money sometimes have it burn holes in their pockets!

VegasCharger

HOLY H3LL!!! That's insane!!!
It's an XP car. 383-2 Auto 37K WTF!!!
Yea if it were a R/T 4 speed 440 maybe.

BTW the 7th character for the VIN states "6" should be "G".

The eBay ad has a buy it now & make offer option. I bet the seller intentionally put a ridiculous buy it now price in order to see how much people are willing to offer for the car. I haven't sold a car through eBay, but I wonder if it is cheaper to sell the car this way versus a reserve type method.

think these guys have done it for a joke or to get attention  :scratchchin:

It's at $5,575 now. If I was interested in it, 4k would be my max ! That's assuming the drivetrain & all the interior was usable. Maybe I am wrong, but I don't see 6k worth of parts on it.

. I think u are right.  Only reason I can think of some one paying so much money on this car they want to fix it. Or rebody it. And if that's the case maybe some one should take the vin and record it..

I'd said it would break the $4k mark and it has but I'm with you guys.
Now if I had a shell only (good body) and needed everything I'd pay up to $6k to! $7k max.   :yesnod:   :scratchchin:
Maybe $8,000 depending on if I needed everything that wasn't damaged.

so what your saying is that the vin   XP29L0G183789   should be at least called out once in this thread in case someone in the future is looking at a nice shinny "restored" car, they will at least  know where it came from  :scratchchin:   ;)

What I am saying is there are some charger running around here in the states that need tags. So it would saprize me if some one is buying the car for the tags to put on there car. I know two people that looking 68 charger tags to put on there cars so I will not sell the car I have to them because of that.

Not justyfying the buy it now price by all means, But if the engine, transmission, electricals, interior and most of the brake parts are still good then I might even think that 5K isnt all that bad. You see cars that spent all their life in a barn with a seized engine and brakes go as high as 5K (and then some)...

Ok to bring this unibody back from hell you gonna need to do some extensive body work and take into consideration that you might even need a 4 door car to use as a donor. I really believe every body panel and frame rail on this car is junk, but If you can just put the drive train back in afterwards like it came out, I think thats a plus.

Says it is unsold and I missed out.   :shruggy:
Wonder what the high bid was and what the reserve is?   Isn't this an insurance claim sale?   I thought they always sell to the highest bidder with no reserve?    :shruggy:
