Do all driveshafts have weights to show tbey were balanced?

I have a 68 drive shaft from a chrysler 300 and can see no signs of it being balanced. 
Should they all have weights on them or some sign of balancing, or are some just good without anything?  It was all from a 1968 Chrysler 300 with a 440 forged crank neutral balanced with a matching 68 727 and drive shaft.
When someone is absolutely 100% sure they know exactly what your problem is and how to fix it, it's time to ask someone else!
