Beautiful ride, but for that kind of money the underside of the car should look as great as the rest of the car.

I can't make myself like this body style...  Very nice car no doubt... But how did they go from a 2nd generation body style to this??  :eek2: :shruggy:
1969 Charger 383/auto
1969 Charger R/T 440/auto (waiting to be restored)
1972 Chevelle SS clone 383 sbc
1959 Chevy Apache short bed stepside
1968 Charger (glorified parts car)
Yes, I know I have too many cars. My wife reminds me daily.

its called evolution  :yesnod: always upward , seem to remember that this body style  had the most success racing   :scratchchin: :nana:

If cars are like movies, the first movie is good, the sequel is great, but rarely can the 3rd one live up to the previous ones. :icon_smile_wink:

It's kinda funny the reactions you get with 3rd gens.  They were pretty radical in their own right when you consider dodge was trying to appeal to a broader market.   Most believe the 2nd gen was the epitome of the charger, but the 71's have a mix of swoopy styling while retaining the charger's traditional muscular looks that can't be ignored.  They seem to invoke a love or hate reaction.  Most of the comments I get people love them: it looks like it's moving while standing still, etc to others that compare it to a porpoise.  Either way it seems everybody has something to say about them.

When I was younger and didn't know any better I hated third Gens.  Now I realize they have a beauty all of their own, and I wish I could have one; in the right trim level of course.  Not only that, but their wider wheel base makes them better handling cars than 2nd Gens too...

Sure wouldn't be a belly button car today.
