the 5th digit is engine size, 6th digit is year of car

I've got a rm23h1g  its a 1971  340 road runner  St Louis build     about 1600 made rare beast that don't get much publicity

rm23p2g is a 400 4bbl  1972 road runner  built at the St Louis  plant

fender tag was roted away but have to look inside next weekend see if i see a build sheet. lookin for rear end for my car and they all gone in this yard. just my luck.
