If not Flipping the car it shouldn't matter what we or anybody thinks it's worth. Drive it & enjoy it & forget about value. :shruggy:

Guys thanks for all the "interesting" input.  This is my BROTHER'S car.  I did not mean to mislead anyone.  My brother is not looking to FLIP the car and make a million.  This was an honest post about a car that HE and I are reallllllllllly excited about.  There is no "elephant in the room"  I was very clear that this car is out of my(our) league.  Of course I'm (we) are interested in what the R/T would be worth to an investor/collector.  There is no hidden agenda here.  I will post more pics as I get them. HE (We) intend to have the car out at Carlisle,PA this summer for people to see and enjoy.  And no HE did not rip off the original owner.  Owner stated a price and it was purchased.

That is a car to keep, way rarer and cooler than most any Charger you will ever find. The kind of car that if you sold it, you'll regret for the rest of your life!

Somehow I don't think so.  Lots of the regulars on here wouldn't let this one get away, but something tells me the sprucing up of this baby is to maximize profit.  I got no problems with that, not my car.  It just grates when sweet deals land on folks that may not appreciate the magnitude of their good fortune....besides the dollars and cents of it.   That might not be the case here.......let's check back on this thread in a year.     ;)

I'm with you on this.  We can all put ourselves in the "seat" of finding and owning this car or one like it.  I for one would post here at first opportunity if it was mine cause it is a cool thing to share.--- And what better place then here?
All the comments one would expect are ones I would want to/ need to hear. :2thumbs:

Okay I got some pics and will get more.  I am sending this pics to show how the paint people must have been hung over or just not interested in doing a good job.  Its funny to see how poor these cars were put together.

The trunk lid paint from factory is hillarious :smilielol:

Is that a factory tach?   I've never seen one but then again I don't know much about those.    Either way I like it.   :2thumbs:
It is funny how many flaws some of these cars came with from the factory.   :yesnod:
Thanks for the pictures.   :2thumbs:

OH, and by the way Guys,,,, there has been a lot of negativity on this thread and I'm not sure why?  Car is a rare and cool find.  It is NOT for sale.  As I said in the beginning....I, nor my brother have ever had anything like this.  We have had a lot of cool cars, some clones, and a lot of junk mopars that we loved, but we have also had a great time with some of cars we have had over the years.  We are not braggers, looking to post a "look what I got and you don't"   We have been MOPAR since day one and always will be.  We are happy when folks find cars.  Of course we are like " damn I wish I had found that" but we NEVER begrudge anyone who finds and gets one.  Usually this don't happen to folks who aren
t alwayls looking and asking.  WE are always looking and asking and that is  how this care came upon us.   So to sum this all up..\\\

Car is NOT FOR SALE  my brother is in love with it and has many other cool cars.
We are not Bragging.  Thought that you other enthuthiasts would love the car.
He/ We will not disclose the price...  NUNYA business
And No I don't want to fist fight over a frigin MOPAR post KERN DOG.
Ill send more pics if ya want.  Otherwise.  WE/ I am out!

And again This thread is about a cool car that has a ton of historical data ....I think this is so cool because even the MOPAR 'pros' can look at these pics and see where things were stamped and how Mother Mopar did strange things. :o.....

Yeah,  that is the tach that is in the car.  I have seen them but are kinda rare.  I wonder if they work better than the tic toc?  Those were a nightmare.

Great pics !

What is your bro thinking of doing with it? Besides throwing punches at strangers over what you paid for it, of course.  :icon_smile_big:

I'd be really torn over it...its a mopar purist sin to do anything with it, and yet it's begging to be driven and enjoyed.

First world problems I suppose....

The interest in this car is interesting  :scratchchin: --It caught my eye. :icon_smile_wink:

Could their be another value to cars aside selling value?? :2thumbs: This hobby may be more then money. :nana:

As with many things in this world, proper communication can make a huge difference in matters like this. I pressed and pressed for the Op to spill the news on the price because he continued to avoid the question. If the OP had any diplomacy at all, the following could have been tried with excellent results:
As for the price, I prefer to keep that private. Please respect my decision, thank you.
Not difficult to head off a shitstorm if you have any skills in communication. You can tell a woman that she is fat if you phrase it right.  :smilielol:

Thank you for those pictures. Seeing markings and stamps like that are really cool!   :2thumbs:

It's quite simple, you say; "You're Fat ...   Fatty McFatFat."  Then you move on with your life.  :2thumbs:  No sense sugar coating the world...

Me too   The dollar value of this car is only important to --one seller and one buyer.  The rest of us find value in it as a look into the past.
As car owners one of the cool things about our hobby is showing them. Pictures and history have value to lots of us. :2thumbs:

I'm not trying to be pushy here, but please understand my point:
Telling people the price paid helps the hobby by establishing a known $$$ amount. Keeping the price a secret only "helps" the buyer and seller while leaving every other enthusiast out in the cold. It just reeks of being selfish. What is wrong with having a sense of community by helping out the rest of the people?
At this point I do not care if the car was bought for $3 or $300,000. I just don't understand the rationale behind selfish people. I go far out of my way to help people.

Should have a 'What I paid and when" thread...

Post if you wish. Nothing forced.

Example: I paid 5K for my car, in 1998.  Got 6 figures in it now!!   :2thumbs:

I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?
