Driver thrown from car lands on freeway sign 20 feet up

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A driver whose car rolled over several times on a Los Angeles freeway was thrown so far that his body landed on a road sign at least 20 feet above the ground.

California Highway Patrol Officer Chad Guin says the crash occurred on Interstate 5 north of downtown at about 7 a.m.

CHP officers got a ladder and climbed to the body, covered it and waited for a coroner's representative. The victim was described as a 20-year-old male.

The wreckage of the car came to rest under the sign. No one else was in the car and no other cars were involved in the crash

That is kinda creepy and bazaar at the same time.    Like Dino mentioned--- momentum is something we gain with speed. It is overcome when we stop. This guy lost some momentum--but not enough.

Sorta off topic, but a bazaar is a shopping venue like a store with a variety of items for sale. Bizarre means odd, strange or weird.
