Well after selling my 69 charger 2 years ago, with sellers remorse ofcourse.  I picked up this 70 yesterday.  I know alot of guys don't like the 70's as well, but it is exactly what I was looking for.  It's a factory 383 car, but now has a 70 440 hp.  It runs and drives, but still needs attention before it could be on the road.  The body shouldnt need any panels replaced, so thats a major plus.  Just gonna have some fun with it.  Feels so goooood to have a charger again.  I got the build sheet, orig owners manual and original window sticker, unfortanetly the window sticker is for a different 70.

Congrats! would love to see some pictures.

I wouldn't throw a 70 out of bed.  All three years are the best, I just prefer 68's.   ;D.    :nana:
Any big plans for it?  Congratulations.

My plans this go around are to get it reliable, throw some black primer on it. (Currently in at least 5 year old yellow primer)some decent wheels and enjoy it.

myk

Not to bring up a sore subject, but why did you sell the '69?

Some might even say that 70 was the best year to have   :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

Just typical life happens stuff. Plus I wanted a black 70. The General Lee is cool, but it overshadows the fact that it is a 69 charger imo. Make sense????

crj1968

Wow and you got it for $200  !   :icon_smile_big:

Very cool- I just picked up a 70 500 a couple weeks ago. I paid $500 though.   :icon_smile_wink:

I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

charger01

Yeah I guess no one else was interested in buying a charger last week. :shruggy:

Looks like a really decent project car; I hope the price was right!  :2thumbs:

I think it was, but what's everyone's opinion? It's all orig sheet metal.

skip68

Man, that seems like a great car.   I'm guessing it was in the $14k-$16k price range.   :shruggy:   Maybe more.   :scratchchin:
Running, driving, mostly complete and not a bondo bucket.   $15-$18K.  :shruggy:
Do the brakes, fill the tank and go cruising.    :2thumbs:

I'm really digging it. But then I'm partial to the satin black theme. Imagine what it look like with General Lee rims.  :D

I'm a big fan of your car too Dukem. I'm a sucker for satin black. That'll be the color of my next one.
