hi all just wondering why there is 2 different trunk pans for a 68 69 70 dodge charger if you look were  the fuel neck exits or enters they are 2 different shapes ,size.also top right corner has 3 holes other has 2 holes is this a mistake or is there 2 types or is the vender selling the wrong one as a charger maybe another b body ?

I do not know the answer but I found two addition holes that are on your top pictured floor pan but not on the bottom pictured floor pan. I attached your top picture with some editing showing the differences.

the only  real difference is the hole for the gas tank filler tube ,   early build 68 chargers  , built 67   ,  first picture you posted !  , had a narrower hole ,  the earlier filler tub to trunk  floor  seal  ,  never use to be repoped either ( might be now ?)  though
Feel free to post any relevant picture you think we all might like to see in the threads below!

I had to redrill all my holes since i used an older 2 part sherman floor pan. Going from the leftovers from my original pan and some picture searching around here I ended up with what your first picture looks like.

I dont know if there's a difference but my filler neck has a small vent line running along the outside of the filler tube wich goes trough the floor next to the large square hole. So I specifically needed a smaller hole next to it.
most 69 trunk floors I have found pictured have the third hole near the square filler tube hole

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...
