well winter finally departed from northern Michigan and i took my charger out for a spin. much to my suprise the gear shifter sorta... snapped off, at the base where the shifter itself connects to the linkage. So i have been hurrying to try to find another on ebay so i can get it back out on the road. My question for you is, is there a difference between a 68, 69, and 70 floor automatic gear shifters, and are they interchangeable?

The stalks themselves should all be the same.

68's have the neut safety switch bolted to the housing

You mean the BU light switch, early '68 only.

The parts book hows different part numbers for '69-'70. Don't know why.
