A383Wing

just noticed that the car is an automatic....yet has a 4spd top plate with what appears to be a manual shifter handle

Pretty sure this is/was Jon Freeman's car from the ATL area.    Jon has posted here before.

I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

pie plate for 71 up... snorkel cleaner box is a 70. I'll trade him for the '71 I have on my 'Bird!

Look at the first big K-frame pic - somebody didn't know where the plastic spash shields go.

snorkle cleaner box is not 70. Its 71 up. Its ok its a clone. So anything goes. Shouldn't even say anything.. Hes not trying to be mr. 100% correct.

A383Wing

I would like to find an under dash AC unit like the one he has for my car, that way I would not have to cut up the front half of my console

Breather hose goes into back / pass side of box.. so under the impression that is correct for a '70.

A '71 and up the hose wraps around to the drivers side snorkel like the one on my car, or please tell me an online expert is wrong and mine is correct for my car  :icon_smile_big:

What I was basing my information on, but looking at it again it's a '72 air box. Has the humped reinforce gusset on the passenger side snorkel, but the rear breather hose inlet the same as the '70.

My '71 has the hose wrap around to the left snorkel and they can be either straight or humped reinforce gussets on the pass side snorkle. Would suggest somewhere through the '71 year they started making the gusset humped instead of straight and then returned to the rear mounted breather hose in '72.

Apologies to doubledlover... it's a '72 box, not a '70 (nor a '71).

Did the letters ever come black instead of white on the Petty Blue decalS.  Just curious as I bought black years ago for mine
