Indeed, also wondering what happened to our buddy CudaKen

I guess forums are kind of like restaurants, customers come and go; some more often then others.  Some are in once or twice, and then never return.  At least we got to joke around and converse with them for a bit.  I'm sure there'll be a day when all of us stop logging into dodgecharger.com  :shruggy:

Thought back to something he wrote a week ago.  I had someone riding right up the rear of my charger as I drove down the highway in the slow lane.  Wanted enough space to stop in case the guy in front hit the brakes, but didn't want someone to be right on my tail, on a cell, and not paying attention.  Also still have 15 inch rims, but not going to complain about the 17s and 18s.  To each their own.  So I wish he were still onboard, but maybe that day will come.

Who in their right mind would say

People take breaks from this place all the time, it's just that no one notices it unless it's someone like Cooter...

ws23rt

I like Cooter and miss his style. His contributions (that I've seen) have been on point and (although provocative at times) what helps make this a place to return to.
He has a practical old school view of our cars that I can identify with. :2thumbs:
I for one am always interested in his input.

myk

I don't see his stance on old cars as being too traditional at all.  He approved of my choice of wheels, an 18" version of classic Torq Thrusts, and even provided support and input regarding my suspension upgrades over the stock stuff.  Actually, I would see his beliefs about old cars as being "conservatively progressive," as in he appreciates functionally modernized classic cars, just not to the level of those $100K+ show-only vehicles that look ridiculous even on paper.

The one thing I know he always got cranky about was daily driving classic Chargers; he did NOT approve of that practice... :scratchchin:

This is old at this point but, yes TUFCAT (along with several others) were banned much earlier in this calendar year. I must say that the whole experience has left me very underwhelmed with this community in general and has greatly reduced my previous excitement for this place in particular. We noticed good buddy, we noticed.  I just assumed you were buried in work again.

I never made it it to your neck of the woods by the way, we got two new kittens after our cats died so we didn't go on vacation.  Maybe next year.

I knew Tuftat was banned and I can guess why, but I expected him back by now.  Maybe he's had enough of this place as well.  I try to limit myself to helping others out here and learning more things about our cars.  I don't particularly like hanging out here too much anymore.

I have a limited perspective into what led up to the banning and as we know there are always 3 sides to the story. And to be completely fair, I don't think that it was necessarily unjustified as a step in the process. But the healing process was unsuccessful and sadly didn't live up my expectations (which didn't require him to be re instated though I had hopes).

But never on this site. this feels like family, i don't post often and that's why I'm still junior member and you all wonder who tha f**k am i.
been a member since 2010 and I'm in here reading off new topic's 5-7 days a week. Ive learnt everything i know about my Charger from here, but also gets to read the more personnel story that some of you share.

I feel this forum is more grown up then other forums,  I like the fact a lot of topics get discussed here that would get knocked off other forums in a heartbeat. I've also seen some pretty good arguments here but all in all I think everything is handled pretty well.

I liked cooters style and do miss his posts, tuffy was a hoot too.
