Charlie Sheen is hiv positive. Is anybody surprised? ????????????

Charlie Sheen sat down with Matt Lauer on the today show this morning and announced he is HIV positive.   In fact, he's known for more than 4 years that he was positive.     I'm not surprised.   He said he's paid out around $10 million in blackmail money to some around him to keep quiet.

He's HIV positive , not Aids . He owned that car awhile back , it was a gift to him from Denise Richards when they were married , he  owned it for 8 years I believe .  Someone else owned it for awhile til now .

that probably explains his behavior with the show he walked away from, or his freakout.  But does it surprise me? no... we knew he consorted with prostitutes, porn stars and playboy bunnies, you cast the net out often enough you're bound to catch something.  His drug abuse history also puts him at high risk.  Doesn't surprise me, too bad for him though, at least he can buy the medicine to live with it long term.

Loved the hot shots movies.  He's lived hard and played hard longer than he should have.   I'm actually surprised he doesn't have more medical issues.   Probably does and we don't know it.  The body can only take so much partying.  By the time you hit 30 you better slow down if you plan on becoming old.

Charlie has always remained pretty up-front about his vices & screw ups. 

I'm kind of surprised he even kept quiet about this & paid money out for 4 years. 



I hope whoever was blackmailing him gets punished.  That's a pretty low thing to do.

So he pays fortunes to keep people quiet but comes out with it anyway?  Why not just announce it up front and avoid the penalty fees?  Well I guess when money doesn't mean anything to you it's not an issue...

He was probably led on.  Maybe the blackmailer first gave a fixed once-and-for-all amount, and then periodically came back claiming they were in trouble and needed a bit more.
