I'm thinking about making a 69 replica out of my 70 charger. It needs almost every panel replaced but the front fenders are in excellent original condition. Are these worth anything? I almost died when I saw that an AMD 69 fender was around $700! :eek2: If they aren't worth much I'll just keep them but I thought I'd ask. Thanks!

Yes, I know I have too many cars. My wife reminds me daily.

Hey if you lived here in Canada I would buy you the new 69 fenders and be happy to trade even for your 70 fenders if they were in that nice of condition for my Daytona clone  :yesnod:

1970 Fenders can bring more than 68/69s when we are talking about good used parts.  There are no reproduction 1970 fenders and probably never will be.  The 68/69 parts apply to 170,000 cars.  The '70 parts only apply to 50,000 cars which makes it much harder to justify the tooling costs.

It's the same situation with the 1970 hood.

The loop-style 1970 bumper is a little bit more practical for the reproduction market to make because of the chroming issue.  And I think the front valance is being done too.

The hood was missing when I bought the car and the front valance is trashed.  I'm pretty sure someone used this car as a general lee at some point. It's all original paint but the body is beat up bad.  I don't know how the fenders and front bumper are still in such good shape.

I'll pay for shipping if you are just going to give away the 1970 fenders.   :2thumbs:

How much you want for them? I don't mind paying shipping if they're nice.
