Not mine. Bottom picture must be a 70.

Actually, the bottom picture is a 68.
Thanks

Okay I can see the vacuum lines so that rules out 70, but how can you tell it's a 68 and not a 69?

Tan Top I found another picture online showing the vacuum can has hex head screws, like the one I had in there.  Can anyone confirm this is correct or if they should be phillips?

My fender tag even had two different phillips screws.   ::)  Those should be #2 screws right?
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Charger-Bodie

The corner piece of the radiator support is the main give away that its a 68.

Oh duh!  You'd think I'd notice that after spending so much time stripping those on my own car.

It is normal to have 2 different Philips head sizes on fender tags....they can be all over the place. Usually the "bent-up" side of the tag has a body color (painted)screw - the other unpainted. Frank Badalson has a lot of the hardware you need.

not supprised ,  heard & read the factory  , would only use hex head , for speed on the assembly line !  etc  , mine were defiantly  pan head phillips  though !  &  had never been previously removed !  BUT !  there was anumber  of differences on my charger ! that were deffo factory errors  assembly line workers cant be bothered  etc .  :shruggy:  ..... :popcrn:
