lol same age, but never drove these cars. I think the same type of test showing the outside would be a different story.

Well Skip, I got 36% too so i'm right there with you!! LOL I'm 41 yrs old and all of these car's really have no interest to me and never really have. I have always liked the mid 60's car's and up but the early 60's and 50's never really appealed to me. If there was a 58 plymouth fury on there I would have got it right!!! Christine may be the only 50's car that I have ever liked which show's my weakness for movie car's!!  :yesnod:

I'm surprised I scored that high.

That's funny, I got the makes correct and years wrong too.  And that was exactly what I was thinking, no interest to me in those years.
But I will say ... try to do that with CARS let alone dashes today ... everything looks alike let alone year!

yea, me too...I got the years right, but usually got the make wrong on those

Homerr

48%, but I was learning as I went along - figured out design cues.  These cars were all before my time (I'm 44).

timmycharger

36%  just as expected.

Where is the one with 60's 70's cars?

F8-4life

64%, the years are easier then the makes, curved windshield is post '55. Looking at the gauges and steering wheel is a huge help in determining year.

56% but three of there answers are incorrect...

1) They claim the 71 Challenger 426 hemi has less horsepower than the 70 Buick wildcat 455...  :shruggy:

Challenger had 425hp
Buick wildcat had 370hp

2) They listed the Mercury Cyclone 427 with a faster 1/4 mile time than the 67 427 corvette. that could be a trick question since there were several versions of the 427 that year. The 427/435hp posted a 13.80 @ 110mph back in 67. I couldn't find a time for the special edition 427, but the factory tweaked 390 ran a 13.98... and a 427 67 Fairlane GT 427 that ran a 14.0( same body as the cyclone)

3) 69 Mustang boss 429 0-60 time slower than the 69 Mach1 428 CJ

The 69 Boss ran nearly 4 tenths faster in the quarter not seeing the 0-60 being any different.

I know I'm being picky, but The numbers I remember and what is being tested are different and the evidence I've found after taking the test support what I remember...  :shruggy:
