dayclona vega hatch filler

im just tinkering on a buddies 69 dayclona, the rear hatch was already welded in when he got it, so i just took the lazy route and made filler panels to seal it up. didnt have to be super pretty as its just gonna get upholstery anyway. just thought ide share what i did today...

so now how are you going to attach the headliner and the rear window inner moldings that are supposed to snap over the lip that's not there anymore?

headliner gets layed 1/4 of the way over window seal and then glass glued in over that. there was no inner molding on the vega hatch
