I need to buy one of those 440 Super Commando air cleaner tins.  I've seen both orange and red advertised and seen both put on the Bird pics I looked at.  I thought orange was the color for 70.  What's on yours?

I have the original hanging up on the wall in my basement.   I look at it every time I pass by it.   Yes, I "think" it's orange, LOL.

I didn't see that one listed on their website (http://www.megapartsusa.com/products.asp?cat=172), but he may have it and they list for $30, great supplier to do business with too.

I had called him earlier before I bought that other one. That was the best price going but he didn't have one and said he was limited on the amount of the $30 ones.   But figure in added shipping the one for 43 wasn't far off with no s&h

I read somewhere that 68-69 cars got red tins and 70 and later cars got orange tins. I'm sure any late build 69 or early build 70 cars could use either one and be just fine. My personal opinion is which ever color you like better...go with that one.
