How about some "RAT RODS"

Seems to me the term "rat rod" is being overused these days...lots of the cars pictured here are just old school hot rods.

For example, what's "ratty" about this truck? The rusty POS next to it however...........

Definitely overused... The original term "Rat Rod" is a term used for old school hot rods that were not necessarily high dollar customs. They were  more artistic and thrown together using parts from other vehicles to make it cool. Most cases were chopped and channeled.

the international truck with the Coronet Quarters Was on the cover of Hot Rod Mag . They are very good Friends of mine Mark & Diane Sax  .
they have now gone back to the Twin Turbo set up on it

Like the term "muscle car" there is disagreement on what constitutes a rat rod. I( prefer this definition:

A car that's made out of scrap parts from multiple cars; no paint, rusty parts; looks like a junky hot rod.
